Nah. They did fight Japan over the Pacific. Gotta credit them for that, they did a lot there. But D-Day? Really? It was a joint effort from the allied forces. The western ones anyway.

Not directly, but if Japan could have beat the US, that is a lot of resources taken away from the allies. They could just starve Britain at that point. And Russia would get smacked by Japan much harder.
