I got book 2 for my B-day this year. I didn't bother with it so far, as I don't have book 1, and it is in Hungarian, and I am a smug mo fo and only willing to read in English, if that is the original language of the book.

The german version is kinda awkward, since even names were translated (worst. possible. THING!) and the translater wasnt any near as good in writing as George R.R. Martin!

I remember playing Space Wolves and later on, its sequel. Since in the former one ship's names were translated and in the latter not, I was confused to say the least. Since said names were usually simple nouns (hatchet, bident, trident, etc) I was ok with the translated version. Usually though names are not this simple and when someone tries (and usually fails) to translate them in order to make a book / game "more appealing" to foreign audience...

I just don't know what went wrong!
